Ingredients:

- 1kg chicken feet

- 1 onion, diced

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1 teaspoon cumin

- 1 teaspoon coriander

- 1 teaspoon curry powder

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 can of diced tomatoes

- 1 cup chicken broth

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

1. Begin by cleaning the chicken feet thoroughly. Remove any excess skin or nails and wash them under cold running water. Pat them dry with a paper towel and set them aside.

2. In a large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.

3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pot and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.

4. Next, add the chicken feet to the pot and season with paprika, cumin, coriander, curry powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the chicken feet evenly with the spices.

5. Pour in the can of diced tomatoes and chicken broth, and give everything a good stir. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, covered.

6. After 20 minutes, remove the lid and let the chicken feet cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the chicken feet are tender.

7. Once cooked, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

8. Serve the Makwanda and Dzondora dze Huku hot, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired. You can enjoy it as a main dish with rice, or as a side dish with your favorite meal.
